All Saints, Malvern Wells & Wyche is a very warm and welcoming church and is deeply integrated with its local community. The congregation members currently span from 1 to 103 and mainly live within the parish.
Due to COVID we are currently operating with just a 10am in person service. Our current service pattern across the two churches can be seen here
On the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays we have two morning services: an 8:45am traditional Holy Communion (3rd Sunday) or morning worship service followed by a 10:30am contemporary service (with Holy Communion on the 3rd Sunday). On average we have around 25 attending our 8:45 service and around 30 adults and 2-8 children and young people at the 10:30 service.
Each Sunday at the 10:30 there is a children’s group (under 11s) and most Sundays a youth group (11-18) also led by one of the lay member of our congregation.
On the 1st Sunday of each month we have a 9:30am joint service with Holy Communion and our evening DEEPER service at 7pm which is a joint service with St Andrew’s of contemporary worship, extended teaching and opportunity for response and prayer ministry.
All Saints has very strong links with our two local church schools: Malvern Wells Primary School and the Wyche Primary school which is right next door who come into the church regularly for services. These schools supply most of our regulars at Messy Church which has been running successfully at All Saints for several years now on the fourth Thursday afternoon of every month.
All Saints also has a thriving Toddler Group on a Thursday morning which is regarded by many who attend as ‘the best Toddler Group in Malvern.’
All Saints church was built at the beginning of 20th century on the edge of the Hills and was designed by Troyte Griffith, a friend of the composer Edward Elgar who lived nearby and is believed to have played on the church organ. The organ has been recently restored – it was an innovative design a century ago and is now the only one of its type remaining in the UK.
